2003 SV1000S SPECIAL EDITION FAIRING KIT

This fairing was standard equipment on certain 2003 models.
It was removed from the bike at 4k miles and is in excellent condition with the exception of one repaired frame slider (below); has been cleaned, waxed, and stored since.


 

Bolts & frame sliders.

One of the sliders had a vibration fracture that has been welded.
They are custom pieces that are nearly impossible to find.
They are not weight-bearing parts or true frame sliders either -- they are simply decorative.
The welded area, which is not visible when the kit is installed, needs to be spray painted.


STOCK LOWER FAIRING BRACKETS (under the engine) ARE REQUIRED AND NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS KIT. See part numbers 19 & 20 on the linked microfiche.
